Education and Training

Why Dr. Goldberg?

Dr. Goldberg is a Diplomate of both the American Board of Periodontology and American Board of Dental Implantology. He is one of only a handful of practitioners with dual board certification.

Dr. David A. Goldberg graduated Cook College of Rutgers University with high honors and a Bachelor of Science in Animal Science. He then attended UMDNJ where he was president of the student government association and was inducted into the honorary dental fraternity, OKU.

Dr. Goldberg did his general practice residency at Montefiore Medical Center where he treated medically compromised patients as well as training in anesthetics and emergency room medicine.

Dr. Goldberg completed his training in periodontics at Columbia School of Dental and Oral Surgery where he taught undergraduate periodontics. He was also an Associate Clinical Professor of Periodontics at Fairleigh Dickenson School of Dentistry for seven years.

After opening his private practice in the Central Jersey area, Dr. Goldberg became active in the New Jersey Dental Association where he was chairman of the Membership Council for five years, President of the Central Dental Society and then Editor of the Central Dental Bulletin for another eight years.
