The practice was started in 1972 by Dr. Martin Cohen in an apartment on Mt. Kemble Avenue. In 1979 the practice moved to Maple Avenue, and Dr. William Lupatkin joined. Just before Christmas 1989, the doctors moved into the current office. Dr. Meera Gupta joined in 1995 and Dr. Suhaib Nashi joined in 1997. Dr. Tammy McCluskey joined in 2007. Lisa Romano and Angela Pelaez our  Certified Pediatric Nurse Practitioners  joined our team in 2007. 

All of our doctors are certified by the American Board of Pediatrics, and are Fellows of the American Academy of Pediatrics. We maintain admitting privileges and Attending status at the Goryeb Children’s Hospital, a part of the Morristown Memorial Hospital, Atlantic Health System.

We bring a diversity of academic, cultural, and religious backgrounds to the practice of general pediatrics in the community. Our doctors participate in teaching pediatric residents at the Goryeb Children’s Hospital, and we frequently have medical students from the University of Medicine and Dentistry observing in the office. Recently our pediatric nurse practitioners have begun mentoring students in their specialty in our office. We have received many awards including listings in NJ Top Doctors. We are members of the American Academy of Pediatrics, the American Medical Association, the Medical Society of New Jersey, and the Morris County Medical Association.
